Mr Ayakannu has been my mums consultant and surgeon for a robotic hysterectomy and I can’t fault the care and attention that he gave her. From the first appointment he put us both at ease with his friendly and professional manner. He explained everything carefully and gave us lots of opportunity for questions. The surgery went well and recovery has been swift, we had a follow up last week and once again had a wonderful experience with Mr Ayakannu. Any surgery is daunting but you’ll be in good hands with this talented Doctor. Many thanks Mr Akayannu.

Prior to my hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo oophorectomy by Robotic Assisted Surgery I was extremely nervous and frightened. My advice to anyone going through this treatment is to listen and trust Mr Ayakannu. My recovery was so easy and uncomplicated, no abdominal pain, only a tiny bit of blood loss and I left hospital the next day. I have 5 small neat incisions with one hidden inside my tummy button and within days I was feeling great and had to keep reminding myself that I had to take it easy. Mr Ayakannu is not only a fantastic surgeon, he is also a kind and understanding gentleman. From my experience It’s so evident that he truly cares about his patients. If you are offered this type of surgery with Mr Ayakannu then you are very lucky.

What a kind considerate and professional man Mr Ayakannu is. He performed a robotic hysterectomy for me in October 2020 and from our first meeting I knew I was in safe hands. He explained everything in detail and responded to all my questions - On the day of surgery his calm manner put me totally at ease. The procedure was a complete success - and my recovery was far quicker thanI ever imagined. Mr Ayakannu’s after care was just as good as my pre op care. I would recommend Mr Ayakannu to anyone needing a similar procedure.

I am thrilled with the results of my surgery - it has given me my life back. Although much more complicated than planned, the surgery has been a great success all due to the care and skill of Mr Ayatannu.
